We are currently seeking a Full-time mechanic to join our award-winning team. If you are a trade qualified, self-motivated individual looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.

We also encourage 4th year apprentices to apply.

Hours are: 8.15 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday per fortnight, 8.00 am – 12.00 pm

Every day is different at Preston Mazda, but mostly you will be:

  • Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
  • Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
  • Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
  • Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

What you can bring to the role:

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Fully qualified, or 4th year apprentice motor mechanic
  • Possess a current driver’s licence
  • The ability to work and contribute to a team
  • OH&S minded with attention to detail for safety
  • A passion for providing high quality work and customer service
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The drive to work safely and provide great service
  • Current right to work in Australia
